ABOUT
Ben Paul is a lighting designer, stage manager and theatre technician from New Westminster, BC.
​
As a lighting designer, Ben paints the stage with light to create immersive and dynamic experiences. He strives to find creative ways to help advance stories with light in live performances.
​
As a stage manager, Ben's excellent organization and intuition are valuable assets to any production. A strong leader who is very detail-oriented, he loves to help glue and bond all aspects of a production together to ensure its ultimate success.
Ben has worked with the creative teams on productions by Royal City Youth Ballet, School's Out Productions and UBC Theatre. In addition, he is a theatre technician at the Massey Theatre and Anvil Theatre in New Westminster. He's also worked with Patrick Roberge Productions, the PNE and Small Stage.

Ben is a graduate from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production. He also holds a Diploma in Stagecraft & Event Technology from Douglas College.
